C&M Labour Supply, set up in 1997, is specialised as an employment agency for technical maintenance and production personnel for companies in the Netherlands and outside. It has a database of fitters, welders and production workers with years of experience in the oil and gas industry, onshore and offshore, but also crane operators, lathe operators, machine operators, mechanics, oven builders and painters. In addition to companies from the oil and gas industry, C&M Labour Supply also supplies staff to companies from the petrochemical, steel processing sector and feed industries.

Hippolytushoef-based C.T. Systems has been working for the maritime and offshore industries for more than thirty years now. Its primary activities are navigational software and hardware design, development and marketing of navigation systems such as GPS, DGPS and GPS heading, and carrying out automation projects. C.T. Systems also provides a broad range of survey equipment available for rent. Furthermore, the company is heavily involved in land and water survey operations in several parts of Africa.

Ceva-Logistics emerged in August 2007 from the merger between the logistic companies EGL and TNT. The resultant business is one of the largest integrated logistics providers in the world. Head offices in the Netherlands are in Hoofddorp with sub-offices at Culemborg, Hoogvliet, Rozendaal and the Kooypunt industrial estate in Den Helder. From Kooypunt, materials are shipped every day to ten jack-up drilling rigs operating in the British, Dutch and Danish sectors of the North Sea.

Den Helder-based Chartworx has been involved with the development, production and distribution of electronic chart systems for the shipping, offshore, fishery and recreational markets since 1982. Chartworx products are being marketed under the names TheMap, TRAX and Quodfish. The systems are delivered in various versions, ranging from ECDIS, inclusive inland ECDIS, to systems specially designed to support maritime operations. The company is also specialised in the development of so-called Fish Plotters and electronic chart systems for the recreational market. Chartworx electronic chart systems are used worldwide.

Chase Seismic Survey (C.S.S.) and Bon Espoir Survey (B.E.S.) and their two specially equipped offshore vessels Tridens 1 and L''Espoir are based in Den Helder. Operating worldwide, these firms carry out chase, seismic and survey work, and bathymetry work in water depths up to 10,000 metres. For many years C.S.S. and B.E.S. have been serving the offshore oil and gas industry and the cable laying sector. C.S.S. was founded in 1991 and B.E.S. two years later.

CHC Helicopters Netherlands is a subsidiary of Vancouver(Canada)-based CHC Helicopters Corporation, the world''s largest provider of helicopter services to the global offshore oil and gas industry, with aircraft operating in more than 30 countries around the world. CHC is also the leading helicopter service provider in the North Sea where the company operates seventeen bases in the UK, Ireland, Denmark, Norway and the Netherlands.

Since the end of 2005 CHC introduced its first AW-139 helicopters at Den Helder Airport, specially designed for use in the offshore industry, followed in 2006 with brand-new EC-155 helicopters. CHC uses these new types of helicopters to transport the offshore personnel of Wintershall, Petro-Canada and Total.

CIV Den Helder started selling ship''s supplies in 1966. Initially, it catered to the fishing industry only. But currently, the Association serves a multiplicity of nautical and other trades. It operates from a modern office and store building right at the harbour, on the "Het Nieuwe Werk" quay. Its clients'' ships can conveniently berth at the front door of this building.

Coastal Carriers is a 50/50 joint venture between Acta Marine based in Den Helder and LKL Oceantrade of Schiedam. Coastal Carriers was founded in the second half of the 1990s, focusing on the renting out of barges. These vessels are for example deployed for the transport of ship sections and contracting equipment, and offshore cablelaying work. The largest barge operated by Coastal Carriers is the Litsa. This is a standard North Sea barge with an eight-point mooring system, a ramp and an accommodation module. The Litsa, completed in February 2005 by a yard in Singapore, has been deployed since that time in the construction of the breakwater around the Worlds Islands Project in Dubai.

Following the takeover of the company Strooper, a well-known installation company in the field of electrical engineering. Croon Elektrotechniek established its offices in Den Helder on 1 January 2008. The range of services of the company has therefore been considerably expanded. Croon Elektrotechniek now has ten offices in the Netherlands and four abroad, and a total staff of 1850. The company, one of the largest specialist electrical engineering companies in the Netherlands, is active in the shipping, marine, offshore, infrastructure, public utility, care, industry and environmental sectors. Head offices are in Rotterdam.

CSU Security Services has for many years now been active in security activities at Den Helder Airport. The work includes checking passengers, and their baggage, who are travelling by helicopter to the various platforms offshore. CSU also ensures that before departure the offshore workers view the flight safety dvd. Once they return from their work CSU again checks the offshore workers and their baggage. The other tasks of CSU consist of fire safety and closing up rounds and parking management. The head office of CSU Security Services is based in Uden, the Netherlands.

Control Unit Testing and Inspection (CUTI) is headquartered in Velsen Noord and has also locations in Den Helder and Aberdeen. The company is a business unit of Control Union Worldwide, an independent cargo inspection specialist, established in 1956. Control Union Worldwide is a division of the Peterson Group of Companies.

In order to broaden and deepen their array of offshore and transport services, in 1996 Peterson acquired Hunting Inspection Services, a well established specialist in the offshore inspection and repair for hoisting equipment, containers and helicopters refuelling systems. Control Union Testing and Inspection was formed by combining Hunting''s with related inspection activities of Control Union.
