J.K.V. Kraanbedrijf was set up in 1990 and specialises in the rental of mobile telescopic cranes with a lift capacity of 30 tons or more, and in the rental of mobile tower cranes. A striking feature is that all cranes are equipped with a camera in the top of the boom. This camera gives information through a monitor in the cabin of the crane operator, giving the operator a good view of the load and the surrounding area. This increases the safety and productivity. Kraanbedrijf J.K.V. operates in the offshore and shipping industry and in civil construction. The company is VCA* certified.

Jongejans Staalbouw was founded in 1973 and currently has a new, highly modern operational facility at the Kooypunt industrial park in Den Helder. This company has its own engineering department and is specialised in fabrication of steel structures for industrial buildings, and in making prefab elements for offshore structures. Furthermore, Jongejans Staalbouw made a number of 35-meter-long girders for a hangar, and fabricated the supporting structure for an offshore platform''s helideck. The company also fabricated the steel structures for the terminal building of Den Helder Airport. Also, it regularly constructs steel partitions and stairways, as well as steel skids for transporting materials and equipment to offshore platforms.
