The head offices of Wind Worldwide Shipping are based in Holwierde in the Province of Groningen, while the chartering office is based on the centre of Alkmaar. This shipping company specialises in the worldwide transport of project cargoes ranging in weight from 100 to 12,000 tonnes, for various sectors, including the oil and gas industry. The vessels in question include anchor-handling tug supply vessels, supply vessels, guard vessels and support vessels. On a regular basis, the company leases their vessels to oil companies, installation contractors, drilling contractors, seismographic companies, and pipe laying and cable laying contractors. In addition, World Marine Support is responsible for the commercial management of the anchor-handling tug supply vessel Granit.
